Over 40 years experience in the boat business which started in 1982 at a retail dealership selling Carver's and Silvertons and Wellcraft. Wanting to enter into the wholesale segment, I began at Chris Craft International as liason in the states coordinating sales for overseas dealers until OMC purchased the company.
Thereafter, as a manufacturers representative on the road with trailer companies calling on boat dealers in Florida, Alabama & Georgia in the early 90's. At the same time, I established and began brokering yachts under the name Sarasota Yacht and Ship. That company is now owned by good friends that have grown and operate a successful business with it today. I continued to carry a broker's licence under SYS until formation of SP Marine Marketing, Inc. in 1993
Have been the VP of Sales for Concept Boats over 30 years (manufacturer of center console boats 23' to 51'), traveling the East Coast of the US setting up dealers and working with them until 2010 when our company decided to sell direct to public and now utilize my brokerage license to help sell those trades and get our client into a new Concept Boat.
