Built in the genuine Jeanneau tradition, the Sun Odyssey 45.2, formerly the Jeanneau 45.2, is one of Jeanneau's brightest jewels. Designed to stand up to all that the sea can deliver, this sailboat represents the harmonious blend of performance, comfort, and elegance. The Sun Odyssey 45.2 has fine entry lines, a responsive and quick hull, and an unencumbered deck layout. In all weather conditions, even on autopilot, the Sun Odyssey 45.2 holds its course exceptionally well. The electronic instrumentation is visible from each of the twin helm stations. Even shorthanded sailing is made easy with the standard furling main and genoa, and the rigid boom vang. An optional classic mast is also available. Combinations of the following options: teak deck, blue hull, luxury deck hardware, etc. allow the owner to personalize their boat. Everything on board has been considered for peace of mind under sail. The cockpit, divided into 3 sections, is large and ideal for all types of use. The teak-battened stern skirt is wide and deep, and has two swinging doors for quick and easy stern entry. There are twin wheel helm stations, a folding cockpit table and long, comfortable seats for those on watch. There is plenty of accessible storage in two big sail lockers, plus a big watertight compartment towards the stern. The interior of the Sun Odyssey 45.2 is a prime example of quality and comfort. Available in two layouts (4 cabins - 2 heads or 3 cabins - 2 heads), there are a number of noticeable refinements. Standard below is an immense navigation station, bookshelves, storage compartments, and a big galley with an expansive countertop. The salon seats up to ten people around a stately table for a warm and cozy atmosphere. The impressive forward owner's cabin, with an island double berth measuring 6 feet 9 inches by 5 feet 3 inches, has shelving, cupboards, and a large drawer under the berth. The spacious head compartment is equipped, along with the standard equipment, with a shielded shower area and teak floor grating for comfort and safety.
